Krzysztof Pawlak

Krzysztof Pawlak ( born February 12, 1958 in Trzebiechów, Poland ) is a former Polish footballer and football coach.

Club career as a player

Krzysztof Pawlak began his career as a defender in Poland, where he played for the clubs Warta Poznan and the larger and better-known city rivals Lech Poznan.

In 1988 he moved to Belgium to KSC Lokeren. Here he could not assert himself and changed in the same year to Sweden Trelleborg FF. Hiers he played from 1988 to 1992 1992. Then he returned to Poland to Warta Poznan, where he played two seasons and in 1994 his active career ended.

National team career as a player

Krzysztof Pawlak played 31 A- international matches for the Polish national football team and participated in the 1986 World Cup.

Career as a coach

As a coach Pawlak worked for Warta Poznań (1993-1994, assistant coach ), Sokol Pniewy (then Milliarder Pniewy, 1994-95 ), Warta Poznan ( 1995), GKS Belchatow ( 1995-96, 1998-99), Lech Poznan ( 1997-98 ), Gornik Konin ( 1999-00 ), Polonia Środa Wielkopolska ( 2000-02 ), Bialy Orzel Koźmin Wielkopolski (2003), Podbeskidzie Bielsko -Biała ( 2003-04 ), Promień Zary (2004-05 ), Kania Gostyń (2006), Mieszko Gniezno ( 2006), Arka Nowa Sól ( 2009-10 ) and GKP Gorzów Wielkopolski ( 2010-11 ). Since July 2011, Pawlak is coach of the second division Flota Świnoujście. From 1996 to 1997 he was assistant coach of the Polish national football team under Antoni Piechniczek and looked after them, after the resignation of Piechniczek, even in a World Cup qualifier against Georgia ( 4-1 Poland).
