KSV-21
The KSV -21 Enhanced Crypto Card is a certified by the National Security Agency PC card which Type 1 encryption functions, and a memory for cryptographic key for the Secure Terminal Equipment and other equipment provides.
The KSV -21 was built by Mykontronx as tamper-proof reprogrammable module, which is backward compatible with the KOV -14 Fortezza Plus card. It adds functions such as the Secure Communications Interoperability Protocol ( SCIP ), an extension of the Firefly protocol and the key management initiative of the 21st century, the NSA. You can perform 1 encryption and hash operations with 80 MBit / s type. As of 2008, the KOV -14 has been discontinued and replaced by the KSV -21.
The U.S. version is certified for the protection of classified data to the classification Top Secret / SCI, as well as unclassified information.
