Ku Hye-sun

Ku Hye -sun ( born November 9, 1984 in Incheon, South Korea) is a South Korean actress, director and screenwriter. She is best known for her role as Geum Jan- di in the television series Boys Over Flowers.

Life

Ku studied since 2011 Art at the Sungkyunkwan University. Previously, she was already enrolled at the Seoul Institute of the Arts, this left but due to their tight schedule. She stands at the talent agency YG Entertainment under contract.

As of 2004, played with Ku in some dramas and hosted on 23 April 2006 to 18 February 2007, the music program Inkigayo on SBS along with Kim Hee- chul. With her role in the KBS drama Boys Over Flowers was the very popular throughout Asia. In 2012 she plays with in the Taiwanese drama Absolute Darling, which is based on the eponymous manga.

Published in 2008 with Ku The Madonna a short film that marks her directorial debut. In 2010 she published her first full-length movie then Magic.

Originally Ku should together with Park Bom and Sandara Park (both now members of 2NE1 ) debut in a girl group. However, it advised the CEO of YG Entertainment, Yang Hyun- seok, prefer to continue her acting career. However, they published again songs for the soundtracks of drama series. In addition, she published in 2009 a specially composed New Age album titled Breath.

Published in 2009 the Ku semi- autobiographical novel about a young woman tango, makes the experience with love and relationships. The novel was a best seller and within a week sold more than 30,000 times. In July 2009, Kus first art exhibition called Tango, which has seen more than 10,000 visitors began.

2011 Ku established her own production company, Ku Hye -sun film ( 구혜선 필름 ), with whom she wants to realize their film projects.
