Kuba Giermaziak

Jakub " Kuba " Giermaziak ( born July 9, 1990 in Gostyń ) is a Polish racing driver. He entered 2011 in the Formula 3 Euro Series and the Porsche Supercup.

Career

Giermaziak began his motor racing career in Formula racing in 2007. Starting for Moto Park Academy, he was tenth in the North European Formula Renault. He also participated as a guest on a race weekend of the Formula Renault 2.0 Euro Cups in part. 2008 Giermaziak denied his second season in the Formula Renault Northern European. While his team-mate Valtteri Bottas won the championship title, was Giermaziak with three second places as best results, sixth in the drivers' standings. He also participated in the full season of Formula Renault 2.0 Euro Cups in part. He finished in 18th place in the championship, while Botta also champion.

In 2009, Giermaziak for Moto Park Academy, four out of seven race weekends of the Formula Renault 2.0 Euro some cups. With a second place as best result, he finished the season in ninth place overall. He also rose for the fourth race weekend in the North European Formula Renault, finishing in 14th place in the championship. In addition Giermaziak debuted in GT racing and joined 2009 to 10 of 14 races in the ADAC GT Masters. He finished the season on top of the tenth. 2010 came to Giermaziak for VERVA Racing Team in the Porsche Supercup and was tenth in the championship. He also again took part in ten races of the ADAC GT Masters. He won two races, finishing in eighth place overall.

2011 Giermaziak returned to Formula racing and drove for assisted Moto Park Academy STAR Racing team in the Formula 3 Euro Series. He participated in the first six events and was on the end of the season in twelfth in the championship. In addition Giermaziak remained in this season in the Porsche Supercup. With wins in Mogyoród and Spa-Francorchamps he finished third in the overall standings.
