History

" Chughenhusen " is mentioned 1161-1171 in the traditions of Collegiate Moosburg first time. The name probably means originally "House of Cogo ". About " Kugenhusen " and " Kugnhausn " the place name developed until 1819 to " Kumhausen ". The other place names of the municipal area are almost all derived from people's names.

Coat of arms
