Kumi District

Kumi is a district (municipality) in eastern Uganda with 388 015 inhabitants. Like almost all districts of Uganda, he is named after its chief town.

Geography

The district Kumi is bordered to the east by the district Sironko, in the southeast to the district of Mbale, in the north- east by the districts Nakapiripirit and Moroto in the north to the district Katakwi, on the northwest by the district Amuria, in the West at the Soroti District and districts Pallisa and Budaka in the south.
