Kurt Faltlhauser

Kurt Faltlhauser (* September 13 1940 in Munich) is a German politician ( CSU).

He was from 1994 to 1995 Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Minister of Finance, 1995-1998 Bavarian State Minister and Head of the State and from 1998 to 2007 Bavarian State Minister of Finance.

Life and career

After graduating from the Wittelsbach Gymnasium in Munich in 1961 Faltlhauser holds a degree in economics and political science at the Ludwig- Maximilians- University of Munich and the Free University of Berlin, which he finished in 1967 as a graduate economist. Member of Parliament

From 1974 to 1980 and from 1998 to 2008 he was a member of the Bavarian Parliament. For state elections in Bavaria in 2008, he did not stand for re-election.

From 1980 until his resignation on 20 November 1995 Faltlhauser was a member of the German Bundestag.
