Kurt Pellegrino

Kurt Pellegrino ( born May 7, 1979 in Point Pleasant ) is an American mixed martial arts fighter who fights in the lightweight class of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. 19 March 2011 its competition balance was 16 wins and six defeats. His nickname is Batman.

The wrestler and Brazilian jiu -jitsu black belt Pellegrino grew up in Point Pleasant. He played his first official MMA match in August 2002 for the organizer World Extreme Cage Fighting against Mac Danzig. In consequence he was eight more fights for smaller operators, where he lost only once. In July 2006, he then had his first fight in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He was forced to retire against Drew Fickett in the third round. After a victorious battle in the Absolute Fighting Championships he should remain in a row in the UFC. He was among other things to the UFC - Fight Night 13 beaten by Nate Diaz and Josh Neer defeated in the Main Card of UFC 101 in August 2009 In July 2010, he lost the UFC 116 against George Sotiropoulos and on March 19, 2011. at UFC 128 against Gleison Tibau. Overall, he completed up to this point twelve UFC fights, of which he won seven and lost five.
