Kurt Voss

Kurt Christopher Peter Woessner and Kurt Voss ( born September 15, 1963 in Panorama City, Los Angeles, California) is an American film director, screenwriter and musician.

Life

Kurt Voss attended UCLA Film School before he began writing screenplays and his work as a film director. His first project was in 1987 Border Radio, where he Anders wrote the screenplay with Allison and was the director. Cost of sales amounted to approximately U.S. $ 50,000, the LA Times described him as "one of the best films of all time on the world of rock music ."

In 1990, Voss, the director in the movie Horse Player, where he had also co-wrote as co -author. Horse Player had its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival and won the Best Actor Award at the Taormina Film Festival in Italy. The Boston Globe called him "one of the best independent films of the year ," while the LA Times, as " expressionless psychological thriller " called him on the theatrical release.

Voss is also active as a musician, he is one of the founding members of the punk band The Hindi Guns. He was married to British actress Samantha Davis, with whom he has a daughter.
