The Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, shortly KU, is a state university in Kutztown, United States.

History and Organization

The KU opened in 1866 as a normal school, 1928, she was a college for teacher education, in 1983 the establishment of the Universitätssstatus was awarded. Kutztown is located in the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch country and is home to a former farm, the Pennsylvania German Cultural Heritage Center. Owned by the University Center gives students the opportunity to engage in scientific language and culture of Pennsylvaniadeutschen.
