Kvæfjord

Kvæfjord is a commune in the northern Norwegian province (county ) Troms.
It is located on Hinnøya, the largest island in Norway (excluding Svalbard ) and includes the land around the eponymous Kvæfjord. Administrative seat and largest town with around 2,000 inhabitants Borkenes, more settlements are Bremnes, Elde, Trastad, beach, Vikeland, Vik, Storjord, Hemmestad, Refsnes, Flesnes, Langvassbukt, Våtvoll, Gullholm, Gullesfjordbotn and Kveøy.
Kvæfjord is dominated by agriculture and prides itself in particular its strawberries.
