Kwan Hi Lim
Kwan Hi Lim ( Korean Alphabet: 임관희 ) ( born July 11, 1922 on Maui, † December 22, 2008 in Honolulu ) was an American actor.
Life
Kwan Hi Lim was born a U.S. citizen of Korean descent. From 1953 he worked as a lawyer until he retired in 1990.
While he flirted in his forties with some tourists, a casting director of the series Hawaii Five-O, in which he appeared in 26 episodes saw him. Also significant was his role as Lt.. Yoshi Tanaka of Honolulu Police Department in the series Magnum. Here he worked in 27 episodes.
Lim never had any formal training in the course of his acting career. After his role in Magnum, he worked occasionally at the Family Court System of Honolulu as a judge.
