Kyle Baker

Kyle Baker (born 1965 in Queens, New York City ) is an American cartoonist.

Biography

Baker began his career in the eighties with work for various comic labels, including Marvel's Spider -Man and New Mutants. But he also drew adventure trips for Disney, a comic adaptation of Alice Through the Looking Glass and the Dick Tracy movie. Baker's drawings appeared in magazines such as The New York Times, Esquire, Rolling Stone and New York Magazine and also works as an animator.

Awards

Baker won the 2000 Eisner Awards for two Letitia Lerner, Superman's Babysitter. He won a total of eight Eisner Awards, including four in the category "Best Writer / Artist: Humor " next five Harvey Awards, and several Glyph Comics Awards: In 2006 he won three awards for Nat Turner ( Best Cover, Best Artist and Story of the Year ); 2007 for The Bakers.
