Kyle Singler

Kyle Edward Singler (born 4 May 1988 in Medford, Oregon ) is an American professional basketball player. He plays the position of Small Forwards.

Career

Kyle Singler began his career in his hometown, in the South Medford High School. After graduating in 2007, he went to Duke University, where he was active for, coached by Mike Krzyzewski Blue Devils until 2011. In his first season Singler was named Atlantic Coast Conference Rookie of the Year. In the 2009/10 season he won the university championship with the Blue Devils and was also voted MVP of the Final Four.

In the NBA Draft in 2011 it chose the Detroit Pistons of the 33 out, but due to the lockout, he could not sign his rookie contract with the NBA team ultimately. Singler decided then to a change in the Spanish ACB League, where he was taken by Lucentum Alicante under contract. He quickly developed into one of the revelations of the league and has been in his league debut on 9 November 2011, in which he brought it to 23 points, four rebounds and three assists, was elected MVP of the match. When the NBA players union and representatives of the team owners agreed to a new collective agreement and announced the end of the lockout, it was expected that a change Sing coupler in the North American professional league, but he took on 30 November 2011 an offer from Real Madrid and signed a until end of season 2011/12 current contract with the Spanish giants. The " Royal " Singler won the Spanish Cup and reached the final of the ACB league. Following the season, he finally moved to the Pistons. In Detroit, he played himself straight into the starting five, took it in his first season averaged 8.8 points and 4 rebounds per game and was voted into the All- Rookie Second Team.

Kyle Singler was part of the banns of the United States in the FIBA U-18 South American Championship 2006, where he carried a 104:82 won gold with his team in the final against Argentina.
