Kyoto International Conference Center

The Kyoto International Conference Center (Japanese国立 京都 国际 会馆, Kokuritsu Kyoto kokusai - kaikan; German " Kyoto International Conference Center " ), short ICC Kyoto, is a large conference center in the north-eastern district Sakyō -ku in the Japanese city of Kyoto.

Designed by the architect Sachio Otani building was opened in 1966 and 1973 expanded. Today, the conference center is on 156,000 m² of space allocated to the large conference hall with a large, 2,000 persons in an auditorium and a number of smaller rooms, the annex hall where 1,500 people room, and an event hall.

In the conference center, named after the nearby city of Kyoto Protocol international agreement on climate change has been decided.
