L'Etoile de Morne-à-l'Eau

Étoile Morne -à- l'Eau is a French football club based in Morne -à- l'Eau in the overseas department of Guadeloupe.

The club is important as a youth club of 37maligen French international Jocelyn Angloma. After retiring from the French national team and the top European clubs Angloma plays since 2006 for Étoile Morne -à- l'Eau and for the national football team of Guadeloupe.

League membership

Étoile plays in the top division of Guadeloupe and won there since mid-1990 several times the championship. In addition, the club in 2006/ 07 also played in Ligue des Antilles, which is played between clubs from Guadeloupe and Martinique. In the 2003 /04 season the club took part as representatives of Guadeloupe in the French Cup football, where you failed in the eighth round at what was then the French fourth division U.S. Boulogne.
