L'ÃŽle-Bouchard

L' Ile- Bouchard is a commune with 1688 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the Indre- et- Loire in the Centre region; it belongs to the district of Chinon and the canton of L'Île- Bouchard.

The church of Notre -Dame de la Prière this church is also a place of pilgrimage. The municipality is part of the Regional Natural Park Loire -Anjou- Touraine.

History

1947, the village of Saint -Gilles -de- l'Île - Bouchard was incorporated.
