L'Islet Regional County Municipality, Quebec
Lotbinière is a regional county municipality (French municipalité régional du comté, MRC ) in the Canadian province of Quebec.
It is located in the Chaudière - Appalaches administrative region and consists of 18 subordinate administrative units ( 14 municipalities and four Sprengel ). The MRC was established on 1 January 1982. The main town is Sainte- Croix. The population is 29,287 and the area of 1664.0 km ², which corresponds to a population density of 17.6 inhabitants per km ².
