La Angostura Lake

The Laguna La Angostura (Spanish angostura = " cornered " ) is an artificial lake in the province of Esteban Arce, Cochabamba Department, Bolivia and is the largest artificial lake in the country.

The dam is 18 km southeast of the provincial capital of Cochabamba at the output of the fertile plateau Valle Alto, next to the highway Ruta 7, which leads from here to the metropolis of Santa Cruz in the Bolivian lowlands.
