La Cellera de Ter

La Cellera de Ter is a municipality in the province of Girona, Catalonia, Spain, whose name is derived from the capital.

Geography

The village of La Cellera de Ter situated on the outskirts of the nature reserve Guilleries to 166 m altitude, about 12 km from Girona.

The Riera d' Cres, whose source lies in the nature park, flows in the municipal area in the Ter.

The most famous mountain in the municipality is the Puig d' Afrou with 843 m height, the 1,088 m high Sant Gregori the highest.
