La Chapelle-Neuve (Morbihan)

La Chapelle- Neuve ( Breton: Ar - Chapel Nevez ) is a commune with 759 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Morbihan in the Brittany region. It belongs to the Local Government Association, Pays de Locminé.

Geography

La Chapelle- Neuve is located in the southern part of central Brittany and part of the Pays de Pontivy.

Neighboring municipalities are Guénin in the northwest and north, Plumelin in the northeast and east, Moustoir -Ac in the southeast, Brandivy in the south, Pluvigner in the southwest and Camors and baud in the West.

North of the village takes you past the N24. The river flows Tarun in east-west direction across the community.

Demographics

History

The municipality belongs to the historic region of Brittany Bro - Gwened (French Vannetais ) and within this region to region Bro Baod (French Pays de Baud) and shares his story. The village belonged until 1867 to the municipality Plumelin.
