La Chapelle Rhénane

La Chapelle Rhénane is a French ensemble of young singers and instrumentalists.

It was founded in 2001 by the tenor Benoît Haller. Focus of the ensemble are European vocal music of the Baroque, which will play music in historical performance practice. As one of the first professional ensemble led the Chapelle Rhénane 2008, the St. John Passion by JS Bach with the disposition of the singers in front of the orchestra. The CDs have been awarded several Diapason d'or.
