La Clef du cabinet des princes de l'Europe

La Clef du cabinet des princes de l'Europe was the first magazine in Luxembourg. She appeared from July 1, 1704 per month until July in 1794.

The magazine was a project of the bookseller, printer and journalist Claude Jordan from Valence and the printer André Chevalier from Bourg -en- Bresse. After Jordan had already brought out the Gazettes de Hollande in Leyden and Amsterdam and Chevalier in Luxembourg owned a printing company, both of them had teamed up to make a journal of Lorraine (then independent from France ).
