La Espero
La Espero is the anthem of the Esperanto - speaking community. The text was written by Ludwik Zamenhof Lejzer. We sing the text to a melody by Félicien Menu de Menil. The music itself has never received official status. Originally, the text was sung to a tune of Sweden Claes Adolf Adelsköld from 1891. Other versions exist of Achille Motteau from France and the Polish composer Andrzej Koszewski.
A new tune was 2013 by Olivia Irmengard Grassner and Fabian Sievers for the gym tour " TUI Feuerwerk der Turnkunst - Esperanto " created, organized by the Lower Saxony Gymnastics Federation ..
