The hydroelectric power plant La Grande -3 (French Centrale La Grande -3 or LG -3 ) is a storage power plant in the Canadian province of Québec. It is located in the region Jamesie on the river La Grande Rivière, 238 kilometers from the mouth of the James Bay.

The power plant is part of the James Bay hydroelectric project, has twelve Francis turbines and is fed from a dam Réservoir La Grande 3. The installed capacity of generators is 2417 MW, the drop height of 79 meters. Operators of the power plant is the Société d' énergie de la Baie James ( SEBJ ), a subsidiary of the state-owned power utility Hydro-Québec.

Construction on the power plant La Grande -3 began in 1976. Originally SEBJ had planned the operation of ten turbines, but increased in 1978 a project change before and added two more turbines. The commissioning took place in stages between 1981 and 1983, the installed capacity was 2304 MW initially and was increased in the following years by about five percent. During the most intense construction phase in the year 1980 3100 workers lived in the neighboring temporary settlement.

A 28- km long access road that is not open to private vehicles, leads south to Highway Route Transtaïga.
