La Moneda Palace

The Palace of La Moneda (Spanish Palacio de La Moneda ) was the former Mint of Chile and is now the Chilean presidential palace. He stands in Santiago de Chile. It was built 1786-1812. He became known as the scene of the bloody military coup of September 11, 1973 against Salvador Allende by the general and later dictator Augusto Pinochet.

Structurally, it was after 1973 externally restored after the damage the bombing and changed inside.
