La Pocatière

La Pocatière is a town in the eponymous Canadian Kamouraska County (regional county municipality ), while their capital. The city on the western shore of the St. Lawrence River in 2006 counted a total of 4,575 inhabitants and has an area of ​​21.73 km ².

La Pocatière was founded in 1670 by François Pollet de la Combe Pocatière.
