The Estadio La Rosaleda is located in the Spanish city of Málaga football stadium. It is currently the club Málaga CF as homestead.

History

The Rosaleda stadium replaced in 1941 the old venue Baños del Carmen. Due to a flood of the latter, the new venue was first used already on 13 April 1941 in a match between CD and AD Malacitano Ferroviaria de Madrid. However, the official opening took place only on September 14, 1941 place when CD Málaga, the predecessor of the current Málaga CF, met the FC Sevilla. In 1982, the stadium was renovated to serve as a venue for the World Cup. Here, the stadium was completely closed ring and renews the display panels. During the final round was used as a competition venue La Rosaleda of the Soviet Union, Scotland and New Zealand. The last major renovation was done according to plans of the architectural firm José Seguí between 2000 and 2006, since then it summarizes, exclusively on seats, 30 044 visitors.

The stadium is owned in equal shares of the city of Malaga, the Málaga Province and the Autonomous Community of Andalusia.
