La Sarraz is a municipality in the district of Morges in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland.

Geography

La Sarraz is located on 490 m above sea level. M., 17 km north of the district capital Morges ( straight line ). The historic town extends on a ridge west of the Mormont, on the northern edge of the valley of the Venoge, on the watershed between the basins of the Rhone and the Rhine, in the Vaud Mittelland.
