Lac Dumoine

The Lac Dumoine is a lake in the region Abitibi- Témiscamingue government in the southwest of the Canadian province of Quebec.

The lake has three elongated slender arms to the north. In the eastern arm of the headwaters of the Rivière Dumoine opens out into the middle arm of the Rivière aux Écorces. The Rivière Kipawa drains the lake at the end of the western arm. At the southern end of the lake the Rivière Dumoine leaves the lake. Thus, the lake has two natural drains.

The Lac Dumoine is located about 80 km north of the community Rapides -des- Joachims in the area of the Canadian Shield. The heavily indented lake has an area of 76 km ². It has a north- south extent of 34 km.

The lake is considered a good angling for perch glass eyes.

The Ministry of Environment of the province is planning a reserve ( Réserve aquatique ) at Rivière Dumoine, which includes the Lac Dumoine and large parts of its catchment area.
