Lacrosse (satellite)

Lacrosse (also Onyx ) is the name for a series of military reconnaissance satellites of the National Reconnaissance Office (NGO ) of the United States. The satellites are equipped with Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR ), similar to the system used on the civilian space probe Magellan to win regardless of time of day or cloud cover shots. The resolution of this SAR radar is 50 cm. Manufacturer Lacrosse Onyx Satellite is the U.S. company Lockheed Martin Astronautics in Colorado.
