Ladislav Móder

Ladislav Moder ( born December 2, 1945 in Tvrdošovce; † December 2, 2006 in Nové Zámky ) was a Slovak football player who was at the time of Czechoslovakia active and belonged to the Hungarian minority in Slovakia / Czechoslovakia. His brother is the European champion Jozef Moder.

Moder is one of the three famous football player from Tvrdošovce - alongside his brother Jozef Juraj Szikora yet. He played in his youth for ŠK Tvrdošovce. It was not until he played for FK Nové Zámky, with 22 years, he joined the TJ Slovan Bratislava CHZJD. With Slovan he won the European Cup Winners' Cup. In the finals in Basel on 21 May 1969, FC Barcelona was beaten 3-2. Further successes with Slovan: Cup Winners Czechoslovakia (1968 ), Master of Czechoslovakia (1970), Cup Winners Slovakia (1970 ), winner of the UEFA Intertoto Cup (1968, 1970).

Moder was nominated for the FIFA World Cup 1970 in Mexico, could not play because of an injury but.
