Ladislav Rott

Ladislav Rott (* June 5, 1851, † May 27, 1906 in Prague), one of the sons and eight children of Josef Vincenç Rott, founder of VJ Rott on the small-town ring (Malé náměstí ) in Prague (1840 ).

The brothers Ladislav and Julius (1845-1876) took over the family company in 1872. The jointly commissioned extension attack - especially in the activity, but also of the necessary buildings - was after Julius 's death while fully Ladislav.

The structural expansions resulted 1896-97, the rebuilding of the house No. 142 on the small-town ring, with frescos by Aleš performed by its employees Arnost Hofbauer and Ladislav Novák.

With his wife Karolina, born Klecandová, Ladislav had six children, among them Vladimir Jiri Rott, who - as a last resort in Czechoslovakia corporate active member of this famous family in Prague - after the communist coup in February 1948 would have to flee with his wife.

After November 1989 Czech media reported on Ladislav's suggestion to take the Prague Underground in attack, he submitted to the City Council of the Royal Capital City of Prague in the summer of 1898.

In one of the Rott - houses whose second " robbery" in 1993, Vladimir J. Rott (* 1950) laments the VJ Rott House ( here pictured right ), a hotel is currently operated, which replaced a crystal glass business.
