Lady Sanjō

Sanjō no kata (Japanese三条の方; * 1521, † August 29, 1570 ) is the Notname the second wife (継 室, keishitsu ) Takeda Shingen and lived in the 16th century in Japanese Kōfu. Their remains rest close to her favorite place, the Enkoin Temple, and near the grave of her husband.

She was the daughter of Sanjō Kin'yori from the house of the old Hofadelsfamilie ( Kuge ) the Sanjō. As such, it was more of a person with great interest in culture than was the case with the daimyo, the feudal warlords such as Takeda Shingen. However, Takeda Shingen gave her a temple of their own, and they built quickly in Kōfu an influential company and a network of key decision makers. You should have had a very strong connection to Shingen and have strengthened his interest in art, Buddhism and Chinese writings.
