Laëtitia Roux

Laetitia Roux ( born June 21, 1985 in Gap ) is a French ski mountaineer and multiple owner of the title.

Biography

Roux began at the age of nine with ski mountaineering. In fall 2005, she joined a friend there also active section of PACA Fédération Française de la montagne et de l' escalade ( FFME ). In December she began taking part in a race, the Alpi Champsaur, where she finished 73rd place.

After the French Junior Championship, the first junior World Cup and World Championship vertical race she won in 2006, the championship title and achieved 9th place at the World Championship vertical race in the senior, she was able to 2007 in the French championship in ski mountaineering and Vertical Race (also in the team competitions ) secure first place. Also at the European Championships in the same year she won the first place in ski mountaineering and in the vertical race, also the second place in the relay competition with Corinne Favre and Véronique Lathuraz. In the World Cup standings, it reached 2007 in the youth classification and the first in the women's third place. Also in 2007, she took on the Traca Catalana first place among the espoir. The Patrouille des Glaciers she won in 2008 along with Nathalie Bourillon and Corinne Favre the second place, in the same year at the World Cup in ski mountaineering the second, in the vertical race in eighth place and at the Pierra Menta in a team with Nathalie Etzensperger Place 1 also at the World Cup ski mountaineering in the Val d' Aran she won the 2008 bronze medal in the women's category.

Roux is a member of the international Dynafit team. She is a student and lives in the Hautes -Alpes.
