Laëtitia Tonazzi

Laetitia Tonazzi ( born January 31, 1981 in Créteil ) is a French football player.

Club career

The attacker began as a girl at FC Plessis- Trévise with the football. In 1995, she took the traditional club VGA Saint -Maur, where Tonazzi even as a teenager was a regular fixture in the League team. In 2001 she moved to Juvisy FCF. Since then, she has been employed at the first division, with whom she has won two national champion (2003 and 2006) and the 2005 National Cup. In the 2007 /08 season Laetitia Tonazzi was also league top scorer with 27 goals in 22 games. In Juvisy she has scored more than 150 goals in 200 competitive matches up to and including the 2011/12 season; they also reached in 2011 with this women's club the quarterfinals of the Champions League. For the 2012/13 season she has been switched to series champions Lyon.

In the national team

Laetitia Tonazzi played as a teenager for France; In 2000 she participated in the U-18 European Championship in part in their own country. For the first time in April 2002, the then national coach Élisabeth Loisel called them then in a game against the Czech Republic in the French A- national team. After 55 A- international matches until May 2010, she was initially not considered for the Bleues; nevertheless nominated Loisel successor Bruno Bini, the experienced football player who has already participated in the 2003 World Cup and the European Championship in 2009, for his extended squad for the World Cup finals in 2011, from which he then emphasized again, however, before the tournament starts.
