The Laguna del Carbon is a salt lake in the endorheischen San Julián Basin in South America. The basin is located in the Argentine province of Santa Cruz, about 54 km from Puerto San Julián.

With a height of 105 meters below sea level, it is the deepest valley in the Americas, at the same time the deepest valley in the southern hemisphere and the seventh deepest country location in the world.
