Lahmacun

Lahmacun [ lahmadʒun ], also known as Turkish pizza is a flat bread made ​​from yeast dough that is coated before baking thin with a spicy sauce of minced meat, onions and tomatoes. Lahmacun is a traditional snack which is usually eaten hot straight from the oven. Similar dishes are also known in the Arab world. The name derives from the Aramaic Lahmacun " lame on jungle ", which means " meat with dough".

Largely it is assumed that the Assyrians as early as the 2nd millennium BC knew a similar dish and Greek merchants brought it to Greece.
