Lake Burdur

The Burdur Gölü ( Burdur Lake) is of tectonic origin and located between the Turkish provinces of Burdur and Isparta. He is one of the deepest lakes in Turkey. Is fed to the lake from the tributaries Bozçay, Kravgaz, Qurna, Çerçin, Lengüme and Adalar. However, these streams carry so little water that they dry out in the warm months in whole or in part. The provincial capital Burdur is approximately 5 km from the lake. In the southwest are the other two lakes, Burdur, the Salda Lake and the Yarışlı Lake.
