Lake Shetek State Park

The Lake Shetek State Park is a state park in the southwest of the U.S. state of Minnesota near Currie. It is named after the adjacent thereto Shetek Lake, the largest lake in southwest Minnesota. He is a popular destination for campers and relaxation seekers with designated places for picnics, volleyball, football, swimming, fishing, playgrounds and much more. Furthermore, there are also historical monuments mindful of the Dakota War of 1862, including a log cabin originally preserved.
