Lake Yonozero
The Jenosero (Russian Енозеро ) is a lake in Russia's Murmansk Oblast. It is located in the northeast of the Kola Peninsula at an altitude of 224 m.
The Jenosero has a water area of 94.4 km ², including the islands is the total area of approximately 100 km ². The catchment area of the lake covers 982 km ². The Jenosero is in two parts, an eastern and a western, jointed, which are interconnected via a only 350 m wide Sund.
The river Kosel ( Козель ) flows through the adjacent lake in northwestern Tschilijawr and empties into the western part of the Jenosero. The Warsina drained the lake to the north to the Barents Sea.
