The Lal - Suhanra National Park is located in the Cholistan Desert near the city of Bahawalpur in Punjab province in Pakistan and was established in 1974. The total area covers 874 km ². It was founded in 1972 on an area of 313 km ², of which at that time consisted of about two-thirds desert. In addition to the drylands lies with the Patisar Lake also an important wetland area in the national park, which attracts numerous Vögle.

For large animal of the park include wolves, honey badgers, caracals, jackals, wild boars and porcupines. Blackbuck are extinct Park area, but are held together with the Indian gazelle, pig deer, nilgai and rhinoceroses in fenced areas. In the park live beyond about 160 bird species.
