Lambda point
The lambda point is a pressure- dependent temperature, below which puts a liquid into the superfluid state.
Lambda has the point, when plotting the graph of its name, the generated specific heat capacity as a function of temperature. The shape of the graph resembles the Greek letter lambda, " λ ", the specific heat capacity at lambda point assumes the value of infinity.
Elements
The most common isotope of helium, 4U ( also referred to as helium II superfluid state) is superfluid at a pressure of 5036 Pa at a temperature below 2.1768 K. Beyond that, could so far be observed falling below the lambda point only in 3He and 6Li superfluidity.
