Lamin Samateh

Lamin Basmen Samateh ( born June 26, 1992 Kiang Keneba ) is a Gambian footballer who plays since January 2011, the Croatian club NK Lokomotiva Zagreb and there has a contract until 2018.

Career

Association

Lamin Samateh was in the seasons 2009 and 2010, the GFA League First Division at Steve Biko FC under contract before he moved to the Croatian club NK Lokomotiva Zagreb during the winter break, so in January 2011. His league debut came on 25 February at the 0-0 draw against NK Osijek. On May 13, generated Samateh 2-0 home victory over Cibalia Vinkovci his first goal for Lokomotiva which, however, in seven missions during the 2011/12 season was his only. In the seasons 2011/12 and 2012/13 Samateh came to regular inserts, if used, he also started mostly in the starting lineup. However, he came in the current 2013/14 season only four league games, two of them as a substitute.

National

2009 belonged Samateh to the squad of the Gambian U-17 national team for the U-17 World Cup in 2009, he completed all three group matches against Iran ( 0:2 ), the Netherlands (1:2) and Colombia (2: 2).

On 2 June 2012, he graduated as part of the qualification for the World Cup 2014 in Brazil his senior international debut in the match against Morocco, when he came on in the 65th minute for Yankuba Ceesay. In March 2013 Samateh got its first international match in the starting lineup and indeed in the 0-3 defeat against Ivory Coast. In four international appearances of the central defender so far was no scoring.
