Landhagen

The Office Landhagen located in the north of the district of Vorpommern - Greifswald in Mecklenburg- Vorpommern ( Germany ). In office country Hagen on April 3, 1992, the ten municipalities Dargelin, Diedrich Hagen, Hinrichshagen, Leven Hagen, Mesekenhagen, Behrenhoff, Dersekow, New Churches, and Wackerow Weitenhagen have joined forces to do their administrative business. As early as 1938 there was a " common land Hagen " - it consisted of the municipalities of New Churches, Steffenhagen, Dersekow, Pansow, Hinrichshagen, Leven Hagen and Jarmshagen. The administrative headquarters is located since 1999 in the town of New Churches.

The office area extends around the town of Greifswald and the Bay of Greifswald, along the lowlands of the river Ryck. The Office is bounded on the south by the Office Züssow the north by the Baltic Sea and the town of Greifswald, on the west by the rural district of Vorpommern - Rügen and in the east by the Office Lubmin. Notable elevations and lakes are not in the office area. The Office are the two islands Riems and Koos upstream, but belong to the city of Greifswald.

The tourism, especially its proximity to the town of Greifswald and the Baltic Sea, economically plays a greater role. In the city of Greifswald environment also some commercial areas emerged.

Through the south of the Office Landhagen the Federal Highway 20, the highway passes 109 ( from Greifswald to Anklam ) and State Road 96 ( from Berlin to Stralsund ) through the Office.
