Landis Arnold

Landis Arnold Stevens ( born August 6, 1960 in Boulder, Colorado ) is an American former ski jumper.

Arnold jumped on February 13, 1981 his first jump in the ski jumping World Cup. When ski flying in Ironwood, he was doing 14 and thus won his first World Cup points. Through this, he finished at the end of the season the 78th place in the overall World Cup standings. Then put Arnold for two years an international competition break it, then start first for the season 1983/84 again in the World Cup. Already in the first competition of the season he was able to win World Cup points in his adopted hometown of Lake Placid. At the end of the season he was on the 59th place in the World Cup overall standings.

At the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo Arnold jumped to 28th place on the normal hill.

After the Winter Olympics Arnold joined again at the Four Hills Tournament 1984/85 on, but remained unsuccessful and ended after the tour his active ski jumping career.
