Lang Jeffries

Lang Jeffries (actually Loppin William, born June 7, 1930 in Ontario, Canada, † 12 February 1987 in Huntington Beach, California ) was a Canadian actor.

Life

Jeffries lived for a time in Michigan before he began his military service. As a soldier, he took part in the Korean War at the Battle of Inchon, where he participated as one of only three survivors of an attack led by General Douglas MacArthur during a landing operation.

In 1958 he first appeared as an actor in appearance: Until 1960, he played in 73 episodes to Skip Johnson in the television series Rescue 8 Then he began a successful series of films in Europe, especially in Italy as the main character. He was until 1965 mainly in sandals films ( sometimes performed as Jeffrey Lang), then in spy movies and in his most famous role in Germany as the title character of Perry Rhodan - SOS to see from space. In 1971 he made ​​his last European film; then he only played three times in action movies. Time in his career he also played guest roles in television series.

Jeffries was married from 1960 to 1962 with his colleague Rhonda Fleming in the third of six marriages.
