History

The Barons of Former were the local lords and owners of the Bailiwick. Since the Imperial Diet of 1803 the place belonged to Bavaria. In the course of administrative reform in Bavaria, was born with the congregation of 1818, the current community.

On April 1, 1971, part of the dissolved municipality Habertsweiler was incorporated.

In Langenneufnach is the ancestral home of the company's top star. The company is an office chair manufacturer No. 3 in Germany and in the top 10 worldwide.

Traffic

The Langenneufnach station is located on the Staudenbahn of Gessertshausen after market forest. The route is currently operating only from individual special trains.
