Lanny Cordola

Lanny Cordola (* 1961 in Los Angeles, California) is an American rock guitarist, music producer and studio musician who became known to a wider audience especially through his work at the U.S. American hard rock band Giuffria and House of Lords.

In the AOR band Giuffria he had to replace the rock guitarist Craig Goldy in 1986, as this to enter a range of ex- Black Sabbath singer Ronnie James Dio in his own heavy metal band Dio, could not resist and Giuffria therefore turned his back. The sequel, House of Lords Cordola left after only one studio album and a Tournée due to his personal differences with the producer of the band Gene Simmons (including musicians in Kiss). The leading German hard rock and heavy metal magazine Metal Hammer referred to him in the 1980s as a virtuoso.

Since Cordola longer lived in the rock and pop music metropolis of Los Angeles, he worked as a studio musician and was among others the guitar teacher of Ken Tamplin. On television, he starred as a musician (played by John Stamos ) in the popular American television series Full House in the house band of Jesse Katsopolis.

He is currently a guitarist in the backing band of the American singer Nancy Sinatra.
