The Lanterne is a river in France, which runs in the Franche-Comté region in the Haute- Saône. It rises in the western part of the Regional Natural Park of Ballons des Vosges, in the municipality of La Lanterne -et -les- Armonts, in the Lake District Plateau des Mille Étangs. The Lanterne drained initially in a south-westerly direction, then turns to the northwest and flows in their lower reaches back toward the south west. It opens after 64 kilometers in the municipality of Conflandey as a left tributary of the Saône in.
